Eating healthy or organic foods keeps up with the practice of healthy living. Cooking such foods is a different matter. Healthy cooking is a bit more complicated than the more conventional cooking. Here are some tips on how to cook right the healthy way:

  • Skip too much water when cooking organic soup with low sodium and sugar. If you want more soup though, you can use milk to have a creamier soup.
  • Remember that the thinner the food components are, the less liquid. So if you use soy milk or non-fat, be sure you don’t get too excited in pouring the contents. Measure carefully!
  • Cooking slow is best for healthy foods to absorb liquid properly. You can use crock pots for this type of cooking.
